ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY

I think the role of technology in facilitating learning is to get a faster and a wide information for the learners and for the teacher. With the used of technology this will help us to deal with the lesson easily, and so that we can achieve our goals or our objectives quickly. But then, of course it is important to have a plan before using technology is there to attain the lesson very faster, but the teacher should see the strength and weaknesses of using technology. It is also important that in choosing the best technology materials make sure that it will help the students to caught up with the lesson and as well as to the teacher for them to give the information very clear.

THE STUDENTS ROLE

Students or the learners is the main center of the educative process.The main role of the students is to develop their ability to understand the lesson that the teacher is giving to then. And also to assert effort in their study so that they will be a good followers and an excellent pupils.

THE TEACHERS ROLE

Teacher is the one who facilitate teaching- learning process. He is the one who begin the class discussion and the one who makes lesson plan for his pupils.There are different activities that he will necessary to give to his students. Like for instance, giving them assignment, projects, group them them in an activity to develop a cooperation among them. Let them observe or discover what is happening outside, on his environment and other activities that will enhance or improve the capability of the students to perform better in the class. As I have noticed it is very rarely that the teachers used any high-technology devices to facilitate teaching-learning process because during our observation we don't see anything that the teacher used those mediated equipments.

Our Second Observation

This is the second week of our observation. Of course I prepared myself so that I will look fine for the students of CNHS. But then of course with the uniform that I wear. Mrs. Fernandez is one of our cooperating teacher this day. She is teaching English subject. Our observant is the fourth year- acacia. We did not expect that she will going to asked us to introduce ourself to the class.But of course we are PNU'ans, we are on the spot excellent.. jejeje..
I am the one who begin to introduce myself and followed by my two remaining observers. Mrs. Fernandez is merely in the age of 50, a well professional teacher. She is good in giving her lesson to the students. She have concerned about her pupils, especially in the attendance and she look forward to give enough knowledge to her students .She is good in delivering the concept and the way she deliver her lesson because she is really a good communicator in using the second language.
Our observation ends give us wonderful experience again.

Our First Observation

First day of our observation in Calauag National High School. of course I was so excited and have some fear feeling. this is not our first on observing in a high school because last semester we had been observed already in LCNHS in Lopez, Quezon. but this time in Calauag.When we arrive in the school, Mrs.Entienza,the principal welcome and introduced us on the teachers that we are going to observe during their lesson.
All of them welcomed and appreciated us.When we are observing already I realized that it was really enjoyable to experience this kind of observation. The student in CNHS is not that what I do really expected. They are very behave students, their attitude and the way they respect us give pleasure to us. Especially when they are greeting us "good morning ma'am or good morning sir".
Our first assigned classroom to observe is the class of second year and our cooperating teacher is Mrs. Diamante. She welcomed and introduced us to the students She is really a good mathematics teacher. She is good in motivating her pupils. She used to make her voice louder to motivate her students to listen to her. She makes her students to participate in their discussion.We are three observant in the classroom, Martin,Anne jean and I.
Our next assigned classroom is the class of Mrs. Sotto, the first year student. she is also a mathematics teacher. from the beginning of their lesson, she caught the attention of her students easily. She asked her students to review their past lesson. And then they conducted a quiz beethat the questions is all about the topic that included in their lesson. The lesson became more enjoyable.
At last, haixxt!! we are tired already in our first day observation but then it was really great to experience this. next friday ulit!!!
